Franciosa named Northeast Rush and Rush Greece International Scouting Director

Stefano Franciosa will lead all International Programming for Northeast Rush and Rush Greece, tasked to further develop and bridge all player pathways between Europe and the United States in 2022.


NewtonvilleM– December 16, 2021 –Northeast Rush and Rush Greece today announce Stefano Franciosa as International Scouting Director. Stefano will be assigned to a new role within the organization as he will be tasked to lead our men’s and women’s professional teams in Europe, scouting players, International Residency Program, Domestic Residency Program, Combines, Tournaments and International Tours.

“I am so excited to take on this new role and focus my knowledge and passion for the sport into talent identification”, Franciosa said in a statement.

“We’re extremely pleased to have Stefano take on the role of International Scouting Director for our organization. Stefano’s knowledge of the game, ability to identify and develop talent and having worked side by side with Stefano for the last 10 years, creating unique development platforms for players of all ages and skill levels in the New England area, has made him the obvious choice for the job. We are confident that he is the right person to help us achieve our club’s goals at both the elite youth and professional levels. I look forward to beginning our work together during what will be an important offseason for the club,” said Jim Antonakas, who sits on the Advisory Board of Northeast Rush and chairman for Rush Greece.
