Mirko Nufi

Born in Crema, Italy, Mirko played at a professional academy before signing with FC Internazionale when he was 16 years old. He then moved to the USA in 2017 to pursue a degree in Exercise Sciences at Merrimack College, and upon completion he remained there for graduate school earning a masters in Strength and Conditioning. During his time at Merrimack College Mirko played for the men’s soccer team competing in Division I and he earned a plethora of accolades including Northeast Conference (NEC) Defensive Player of the Year, United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American, Scholar All-Region Team, All Northeast Region first team, along with All American Strength and Conditioning Athlete of the Year in 2021. Upon completion of his graduate studies he joined the Merrimack College Men’s soccer staff as an Assistant/Performance Coach. Not long after he joined MA Rush as Assistant Director of Coaching as well as coaching the 2005 girls and 2008 boys teams. In his second year at MA Rush he was promoted to Premier Director and coached his 2005 girls to a State Title and guided them to the Eastern Regional Championships Semifinals.
