Dave Pawelczyk is the Girls Director for Syracuse Rush and also coaches the 2006 Blue, 2006 Grey, and 2009 Grey teams. Dave carries a National D license as well as the Blended Grassroots accreditations. Dave came to Rush in 2021 with his local club, West Sharks FC, to help expand opportunities for himself and his players by working with a National club. While with WSFC he was owner and coach of multiple girls teams for 8 years. Dave has also been the president of the Western Onondaga Youth Soccer Association for 8 years and continues to coach at this recreational level as well. In 2017 Dave was recognized for his commitment to Community/Recreation soccer when he was awarded the New York State West's Recreation Coach of the year. Additionally this past fall, Dave worked as the assistant coach for the Bishop Ludden modified team. Coaching Soccer and developing leaders on and off the field is a passion of Dave’s and he looks for opportunities to be involved at all levels of soccer to ensure playing opportunities for everyone.
