Luke O'Callaghan joined the Rush staff in the summer of 2020. Luke is originally from South Wales in the UK and came to the US in 2009. Luke played collegiately at Hiram College (OH) from 2009-2012 and graduated with a degree in English, afterwards completing an MA at Malone University (OH) in 2016.

He started coaching in 2011 for Canton-Akron Soccer Club in Canton, OH where he coached at the MRL level in the midwest. He moved to Syracuse NY in 2019, became Premier Director of Syracuse in 2020, and was announced as the NY Select DOC in September 2022. He currently coaches the 2012 Boys Pre-Select team and previously coached several Select boys teams.

Additionally, Luke is the men's assistant coach at SUNY Oswego.
