Capital District Youth Soccer League

About The Capital District Youth Soccer League

The Capital District Youth Soccer League supports youth soccer to players from 5 to 19 years old. The CDYSL connects the local club members to the Eastern New York Youth Soccer Association. It also links these clubs to the United States Soccer Federation, which is ENYYSA's parent organization.

Women's and Men's National teams and Major League Soccer are members of the nonprofit USSF.

The CDYSL has more than 40 soccer clubs, with fall and spring league play available to the players. It also holds spring and summer tournaments, including the CDYSL Empire Cup Kickoff Classic for boys and girls. The CDYSL holds its Exceptional Senior Showcase in the fall, as well as camps and clinics for players of all ages.

The CDYSL offers college scholarships for graduating seniors who plan to attend a two- or four-year college, university, or trade school in the following fall semester. To qualify, seniors must have participated on a league team for a minimum of two seasons.

Community service or extracurricular activities are also needed to qualify for this scholarship.
