About The New York State West Champions Conference
As a state-level premier league, the New York State West Champions Conference serves as a qualifying league for the US Youth National Championship Series. The NYSWCC utilizes relegation and promotion, and it is a member of the New York State West Youth Soccer Association. With a highly competitive spring league, the NYSWCC fields teams for boys and girls from 11U through 19U.
The NYSWCC participates in U.S. Soccer's Recognize to Recover program, which was created with the guidance of medical experts to reduce injuries and support a safe playing environment. Players, coaches, referees, and parents have access to this information. These resources cover mental health, concussion awareness, emergency action plans, ACL injury prevention, and injury recovery.
Additional topics include cardiac conditions, respiratory conditions, nutrition and hydration, soccer for athletes with a disability, and medication and anti-doping resources.
